Join us for this combined session on Grant Writing & Research Tools that will provide you a strong foothold in tackling your grant proposals. We will dissect the process, get into the minds of the funders, and walk you step-by-step through each element. You will gain access to what foundations want and how to best work with them; explore step-by-step procedures for writing powerful proposals that meet the requirements of potential funders and review what you can do now to prepare yourself & your organization.
We’ve learned that knowing the right tools and how to use them makes this critical element efficient. This session will provide access to find funders interested in your mission by introducing you to directories and other tools available to you. We will explore the Foundation Center’s Foundation Directory Online with over 100,000 foundation and corporate funders. Learn how to do focused, productive searches.
This workshop will take place on Zoom. ONEplace will email you the link the day before the training.
Please note that ONEplace@kpl is focused on supporting the nonprofit sector so this workshop will focus on grants for nonprofits and fiscally sponsored projects. We will not be covering small business grants or grants for individuals.
