Private Visit to the Friends of the Library Bookstore

Whether you have visited the Friends of KPL Bookstore or not, you’re sure to enjoy this opportunity, in partnership with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Western Michigan University, to learn what makes this hidden gem in the lower level of the Central Library so special. Besides learning about the history and mission of the Friends organization, you’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at the “back room,” managed by dedicated volunteers who receive and sort thousands of donated books every year.
