Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon

Have you ever gotten excited about a particular artist or topic, only to do an online search for more information and come up empty-handed? Join us for a Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon as we do our part to balance the narrative. Aided by resources from the KIA’s library, we will be researching underrepresented female artists in Art, Music & Feminism in the 1950s, then sharing reliable and easily-accessible information about them on one of the top ten most frequently-visited websites worldwide. No prior experience editing Wikipedia is necessary. There are many different ways to get involved in this process, from the beginning stages of research to the final edits!
