Women’s History Month Presentation: Remembering Lorraine Beebe

To celebrate Women’s History Month, Local Historian Steve Rossio will showcase the unique and somewhat controversial life of Lorraine Beebe (1910-2005) who was only the third woman to serve in the Michigan State Senate. Mr. Rossio had the unique honor of meeting and interviewing Lorraine and was fortunate to receive numerous unique artifacts relating to her life, many of which will be on display.This event will be livestreamed on YouTube.
